Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements.

Journal Entries & Data Entry: Calculate, prepare, and accurately enter journal entries into the general ledger in a timely manner.

Account Reconciliation: Reconcile ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting regulations.

Audit Support: Assist in preparing documentation and work papers for internal and external audits. Support the development of risk control matrices, process flows, and materials for internal control reviews.

Tax Accounting: Collaborate with the Tax team to maintain accurate financial records for tax purposes. Prepare journal entries and analyze tax-related accounts as needed.

Financial Analysis: Conduct financial research and analysis to support strategic decision-making.

Communication & Collaboration: Effectively communicate financial findings and collaborate with internal teams to ensure process alignment.
Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum sophomore standing towards a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field from an accredited college or university.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Must be able to work from our Oak Brook, IL office (15 miles west of Chicago) at least 3 days a week.
Preferred Qualifications:

Certification in data science or data visualization.

Proficiency in Power BI or other analytical tools.
The pay rate for this position is $20.00 - $25.00 / per hour; hourly pay offered may vary depending on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
