The Role:


PointClickCare is looking for a talented UX Designer to have strong ownership and evangelize the user experience design process using a human-centered design approach. This role requires you to work with other UX leads, researchers and content writers. The ideal candidate should have an eye for clean and intuitive design, possess superior usability skills and be able to translate user needs into the sequence of interactions a person has with our product over time. 


Our UX Designer listens to the needs of our customers to create intentional, simple, and seamless experiences. Through alignment with the Product and Engineering teams on a problem-to-solve product approach, the UX Designer is a champion of the voice of the customer by designing features, workflows and experiences that bring value and drive outcomes. Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:


What you'll be doing day-to-day:

  • Conducting user research and testing
  • Creating mockups to articulate functionality and design
  • Refining user personas and mapping journeys
  • Championing best practices in user experience design
  • Collaborate with Engineers and QA to ensure accurate implementation

Skills & Experience

  • Professional UX design experience - capable of creating scalable design with different areas of constraint
  • Strong eye for visual design - the most optimized design solutions!
  • Data-driven, decision making mindset
  • Flawless attention to detail
  • Experience procuring qualitative and quantitative data
  • Experience working in an agile environment
  • Expertise with established and emerging design practices
  • Ability to manage competing priorities
  • Passion for helping others and fostering relationships throughout the org
  • Creative and analytical mindsets
  • We don't touch code, but working knowledge of HTML and CSS is helpful for discussing specs with engineer
