OVERVIEW:

Onboarding new group clients involves many factors and relies on areas throughout our organization to ensure that our new, large and major clients have a seamless and positive experience. The Implementation Specialist works with our Account Management team on new and existing accounts to set up all products and services with high levels of complexity to effectively integrate them into the Alberta Blue Cross® operational infrastructure. The role requires an individual with great organizational, communication, problem solving, and interpersonal skills as they will be responsible for project managing both external and internal stakeholders and working closely with various departments within Alberta Blue Cross®.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Act in a project administration and management capacity to ensure all areas of our organization are set up to serve new group clients.

  • Act as liaison between the client and all internal departments involved in the on-boarding process.

  • Establish timelines and milestones for timely on-boarding.

  • Communicate with the group client through the enrolment process (status, issues, check-ins, etc).

  • Gather all information from the group for the enrolment in a timely manner (this includes member

  • enrolments).

  • Verify the information from the client is reasonably complete and has no conflicts.

  • Distribute the appropriate information to underwriting, group enrolment, eligibility services and contract departments to see the group enrolment through completion.

  • Problem solve complex issues and roadblocks to ensure the onboarding meets timelines and expectations.

  • Organize and lead meetings as required to assist the enrolment process.

  • Create and distribute meeting agendas and minutes.

  • Provide detailed reports on the progress of the enrolment to the Account Team and management stakeholders.

  • Identify, analyze, solution and effectively escalate key risks / issues as necessary.

  • Gather feedback from the group on the enrolment process.

  • Occasionally, be involved in client and prospective client presentations to represent our expertise in transitioning benefits to Alberta Blue Cross.

WHAT YOU WILL HAVE:

  • Accuracy and attention to detail skills are crucial.

  • A post-secondary degree, diploma or prior experience would be an asset.

  • Project Management/Administration experience would be an asset.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of benefits, contracts, systems, and processes.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients, internal and external, and build rapport.

  • Demonstrated commitment to excellent customer service, operations, and business management.

  • Ability to work independently, and handle multiple complex projects in a demanding, dynamic environment.

  • Exceptional interpersonal and stress management skills.

  • Demonstrated planning and organizational skills.

  • Demonstrated critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft office products.
