Implementation Manager

About your role: 

As an Implementation Manager at Fiserv, you will lead complex, high‑priority client implementations and conversions from our Mississauga, Ontario office. You will collaborate across product, engineering, sales, and vendor teams to deliver custom technical solutions that streamline processes, increase revenue, and improve product efficiency. The role emphasizes timely delivery, strong client outcomes, and continuous process improvement.

What you’ll do:

  • Manage client implementations, projects, and conversions for large/technical custom implementations, ensuring milestones and deliverables are met.
  • Drive complex, high‑priority implementations and component phases of larger programs, coordinating technical and business resources.
  • Develop, coordinate, and execute project plans, task schedules, and resource activities to ensure on‑time delivery and quality outcomes.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline procedures, enhance revenue, and improve product efficiency through process changes and technical solutions.
  • Interface with other Fiserv departments to generate and offer appropriate solutions and communicate Fiserv services and products to clients, sales, and vendors.
  • Lead and coordinate cross‑functional teams responsible for all aspects of an implementation, project, or conversion, from initiation to closure.
  • Ensure adherence to project methodologies, delivery processes, and implementation management processes.
  • Resolve most issues independently and refer only the most complex matters to higher levels.

Experience you’ll need to have:

  • 4+ years of experience in managing client implementations and conversions for large or complex technical engagements.
  • 4+ years of experience driving complex, high‑priority projects and managing program component delivery.
  • 4+ years of experience in project management focused on technical custom implementations, including planning, testing, and deployment coordination.
  • 3+ years of experience interfacing with cross‑functional, cross‑departmental teams to define requirements and deliver integrated solutions.
  • 3+ years of experience with payment systems and industry standards (e.g., PCI DSS, ISO 8583) and payment processing integrations.
  • 4+ years of equivalent combination of educational background, related experience, and/or military experience.

Experience that would be great to have:

  • Bilingual in French and English, highly preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education, work, and/or military experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in financial services implementations.
  • 3+ years of experience in software development project management.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

How you’ll work:

  • This role is on-site 3 days a week and 2 remote days per week. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity.
  • This role requires the use of a computer and audio equipment.

Salary Range:

$100,000.00-$126,000.00
