As an Implementation Consultant II, you will ensure that our retailers that purchase onboarding services successfully complete their onboarding and get the most out of our product, through training, guidance and sharing best practices for Lightspeed's X-series, retail product to maximize customer retention and overall customer experience.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Provide comprehensive training and support to a dedicated cohort of retailers with paid onboarding packages, ensuring they successfully adopt and implement our platform
  • Build inventory and customer databases for each retailer by importing data from files
  • Consistently achieve onboarding targets, KPIs and deadlines for retailer go-live dates
  • Work with the retailer to understand their needs and ensure their workflows are set up for success, including guidance on best practice workflows
  • Stay up to date with the product and retail best practices
  • Identify upgrade opportunities for payments, third-party add-ons and plan upgrades
  • Documenting feedback to Product, Sales, and Operations to ensure we continuously improve our onboarding experience

What you need to bring:

We’re a team of 20 people located in North America.

We're looking for a candidate who has experience with the following:

  • Fluent in English; French is a strong asset 
  • Previous experience in a customer success or onboarding role
  • Self-starter that seeks to identify and improve processes
  • Intermediate Google Sheets or MS Excel skills
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Exceptional communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills

Even better if you have, but not necessary:

  • Deep technical knowledge of the retail industry and retail commerce tools 
  • E-commerce experience
  • Sales experience
