TouchBistro is looking to add a Human Resources Business Partner to our People team. In this role, you’ll work closely with leaders to support practical HR strategies that meet the day-to-day needs of the business, partnering with the HR team across areas like employee relations, performance management, engagement, onboarding, learning and development, compliance, and retention.

To be successful, you’ll be comfortable building strong relationships, coaching and challenging leaders, and handling real-world people situations with sound judgment and a hands-on approach.

Your Impact

  • Deliver coaching in the areas of organizational design, learning and development, talent assessment, performance management, employee engagement, compliance, and employee relations
  • Act as an HR Business Partner (HRBP) to various client groups by demonstrating both a strategic orientation and a hands-on approach coupled with the ability to successfully monitor the "pulse" of employee engagement levels
  • Generate and interpret reports with key metrics and indicators. Leverage HR data and people analytics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
  • Evaluate existing processes to identify automation and improvement opportunities, and drive their implementation
  • Advise employees and leaders on employment related matters 
  • Coach and develop leaders and managers to become exceptional people leaders
  • Partner with client groups to understand the market we operate in, business environment, and unique challenges, sharing insights back with the HR team
  • Help develop HR policies, programs, and processes
  • Partner closely with all teams across the business plus total rewards, legal, and finance
  • Stay current on employment legislation and best practices

What You Bring

  • You have a minimum of 5 years of relevant HR experience including 2 years in an HRBP role
  • You have a undergraduate degree, preferably with focus on business/human resources or work related experience CHRP, CHRL or other HR designation, is an asset
  • You have strong communications skills and interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all levels of the organization
  • You have the ability to effectively collaborate with HR stakeholders and business partners and coach managers
  • You have strong people leadership skills, problem solving, conflict management and negotiation skills
  • You have the ability to strategically influence and persuade senior leaders and navigate ambiguity in a complex, high change environment
  • You have excellent project management skills with an eye for the fine details
  • You have a passion for people; consistent high energy and enthusiasm
  • You have emotional intelligence and strong customer service mindset
  • You have the ability to generate and present reports, using spreadsheets and slides
  • You enjoy working collaboratively with a group and you thrive on developing creative solutions

As part of Ontario’s Pay Transparency requirements, TouchBistro is committed to open and equitable compensation practices. Our salary bands are designed to reflect the range of skills and experience needed for the position and to allow room for growth. The final offer amount for this role will depend on geographical region, applicable experience, and the skillset of the candidate.

Salary is based on relevant skills, experience, and internal equity. This posting reflects an existing vacancy. Artificial intelligence (AI) tools may be used to support parts of the recruitment and selection process; however, all hiring decisions are made by our hiring managers and recruitment team.

Salary Range
$95,000$110,000 CAD
