What you’ll be doing
As part of the People, Culture and Talent team, you’ll provide operational and administrative support to the Functional Groups HR Advisory function. You’ll manage employee lifecycle processes and HR systems, ensure data accuracy, and collaborate with HR Business Partners. Key responsibilities include processing Workday transactions, handling HRCC escalations, running reports, conducting data analysis, and supporting both voluntary and involuntary employee transitions. You’ll also draft employment letters, advise on HR policies and processes, support year-end activities, and contribute to team initiatives as needed.
At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 1-2 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.
How you’ll succeed
- Operational excellence – Ensure accurate and timely processing of HR transactions and reports, maintain compliance with CIBC policies and standards, and support the effective management of HR systems. Support and coordinate HR initiatives contributing to continuous improvement of HR operations
- Collaborative support – Work closely with the Functional HR Advisory team and other HR partners to address business needs, escalate issues, and deliver solutions.
- Business enablement and program delivery – Provide business leaders with guidance and support on HR policies, processes, and systems, enabling them to make informed decisions and drive business outcomes.

- You have strong technical skills. You have a working knowledge of HR information systems, dashboard reporting, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint or a keen aptitude to learn.
