We’re Looking For:
We are seeking a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) with experience in employee relations, program delivery, and HR administration. You will be part of a collaborative HR team responsible for supporting employees and managers at our at our Central and West Vehicle Logistic Centers (VLCs). You will be involved in employee engagement, onboarding, and the day-to-day HR needs at the VLCs. In this role, you will have the opportunity to identify opportunities to enhance the employee experience & align talent with business objectives. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of progressive experience with at least 2 years of experience as an HR Generalist or HR Business Partner.

You Will:
-
Provide HR support to employees across all departments within the assigned VLC, working closely with the HR Manager, HR Director, and other HR Partners across OPENLANE
-
Provide consultative services to the management team and employees in all areas of human resources (benefits, employee relations, performance management, health and safety, training, recruitment, and compensation)
-
Coach and develop managers in all aspects of talent and culture, including interviewing, training plans, performance engagement, and fostering an environment of employee trust and engagement.

Provide timely reporting on all relevant metrics including turnover, headcount, employee relations data, etc.

Support onboarding and offboarding, including conducting exit interviews and supporting involuntary separation meetings.

Support workplace health & safety programs, including participating in the occupational health & safety committee, conducting inspections, participating in incident investigations, ensuring regulatory and internal reporting, and developing early & safe return-to-work plans.

Liaison with Leave of Absence (LOA) & disability management adjudicators to support employees through the return to work program, where applicable.

Assist with new employee orientation; identify training and development opportunities; & maintain training records.
Must Haves:
-
A bachelor’s Degree in a related field is required ideally HR focus or a Post-Grad diploma in HR Management is preferred.

Minimum 3 years of progressive experience with at least 2 years experience in employee relations

Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and time management abilities.

A high degree of discretion in handling confidential matters.

Strong critical thinking ability and applying principles and best practices within the appropriate context

Proven track record in building strong relationships, fostering trust, and promoting collaboration at all levels.
Nice to Haves:

Prior experience working within Google Suite and Workday

Possess or currently pursuing HR designation
