As a Senior Human Resources Business Partner your key area of responsibility will be to will lead the strategic direction of HR support for designated global functional groups. Your goal is to ensure that people strategies—from employee engagement to workforce planning—align with Geotab’s global vision. You will move beyond local execution to drive consistency and culture across borders.
How you'll make an impact:Human-Led Change Management: Act as a lead architect for organizational change. Whether it is a restructure or a new program launch, you support teams through transitions to ensure changes are introduced with clarity, empathy, and care.
Global Strategic Partnership: Partner with senior leaders as a coach and mentor. You will sit at the table with senior leaders to build a unified global culture rooted in open communication and feedback, ensuring business goals are met through effective people strategies.
AI & Data Insights: Leverage modern HR technology and AI tools to analyze trends. You will use metrics to diagnose organizational challenges and provide data-backed recommendations for people development, ensuring our HR practices remain cutting-edge.
Cross-Border Collaboration: Ensure consistency in handling performance management and employee relations globally. You will maintain deep knowledge of various legislative requirements to manage risk while keeping the “human factor” at the forefront.
Talent & Career Growth: Collaborate with leadership to develop career path plans and compensation strategies that help our global talent flourish. You will ensure we are retaining our top performers by providing them with a clear vision of their future at Geotab.
Team Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to other HRBPs and Specialists, ensuring the team is aligned, supported, and constantly growing.
Experience: 8+ years as an HRBP, with several years in a senior capacity supporting technology or high-growth business groups.
AI & Tech Savvy: A proactive interest in using AI tools, HRIS data, and Google Workspace to enhance HR efficiency and create better employee experiences.
Education & Credentials: Post-secondary degree in Human Resources or Business and a CHRP or CHRL designation in good standing.
Global Mindset: Strong business acumen and the ability to manage complex, multi-regional employee relations with objectivity and a focus on the human factor.
Relationship Mastery: A proven ability to navigate conflict with diplomacy and build trust with technical leadership teams.
