About the Role
We're building a best-in-class HRIS team to support our growing organization, and we need a Workday System Champion to join our ranks. As an HRIS Analyst, you will be a front-line expert for our organization, providing critical day-to-day support, configuring Workday to meet evolving business needs, and ensuring our Workday system runs smoothly. You'll play a key role in empowering our people to leverage Workday's self-service capabilities, provide hands-on support for our critical payroll functions, and be a vital part of a team that's committed to continuous improvement and operational excellence. This role is on site 4 days a week in Burlington, MA
A Day in the Life
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Workday tickets, efficiently resolving inquiries and providing exceptional service through our TopDesk system
- Configure Workday to meet business needs, including creating and modifying calculated fields, reports, and business processes
- Provide primary support to the US Payroll team, assisting with payroll processing, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of payroll
- Configure and maintain Workday Time and Absence modules. Troubleshoot and resolve related issues as needed.
- Support PECI integrations for non-US payrolls, ensuring seamless data flow and addressing any integration-related issues
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and escalate complex problems as needed
- Develop and maintain clear, concise documentation, training materials, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Participate in the regression testing of semi-annual Workday releases, identifying and documenting any issues
- Stay up-to-date on Workday updates and best practices, proactively identifying opportunities to enhance system usability
- Assist with data audit and maintenance, ensuring data accuracy and integrity
- Working familiarity with Workday functionality in most of the following areas: Recruiting, Talent and Performance Management, Learning Management, Benefits, Compensation, and Advanced Reporting
- Manage user security roles, ensuring appropriate access and data protection, including regular audits of access
Who We Are Looking For
- Strong knowledge of Workday functionality in the following areas: Core HR, US Payroll, Time, Absence Tracking
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, HRIS, Business Administration, IT/IS, MIS, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- A minimum of 3 years of experience with Workday
- A problem-solver with a "can-do" attitude, driven to find solutions, and not afraid to ask for help when needed
- A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment
- A passion for accuracy, quality, and continuous improvement
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
