The Position

Reporting into the SVP, Head of HR, the HR Intern will join the Lumine Human Resources team to support Event management, HR projects, functions and activities within the HR department across a group of businesses. We are looking for an eager to learn and adaptable candidate readily able to work in a fast-paced, innovative, high-growth environment.

Responsibilities: 

  • Review and create business policies.
  • Develop resource documentation and how to guides on various process for the Workday Implementation project.
  • Revise and update HR tasks and procedures within Workday as directed
  • Assist in the creation and training of new business processes for employees.
  • Assist with ensuring compliance of policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as necessary.

 

Qualifications: 

  • Current student or a recent graduate from a Human Resources program or a related field. 
  • Resourceful and analytical; able to apply practical solutions to complex HR problems. 
  • Demonstrated ability to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, and in confidence. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excels under pressure and can meet tight deadlines. 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills. 

Nice to have:

·       Experience in learning and development.

·       Experience in creating training programs

·       Experience in marketing. 

·       Experience using Workday.
