Job Description

In our continuing effort to focus on the development of a growing organization and business, we are seeking a Human Resources Coordinator. Reporting to the Director, HR, this hands-on position will be responsible for a range of duties and will work closely with the HR team to deliver best practices and solutions that support the business in conjunction with Human Resources functions.

You will serve as a trusted business advisor and dynamic contributor to the team to ensure human resources strategies align to the goals and objectives of the company.  You are an individual with immense passion, ability, and organizational skill, making human resources a competitive advantage relied on by the leadership team.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Provide input and support to the general operations of the Human Resources department.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes for new and existing employees.
  • Facilitate orientation and benefits programs for Canadian and US employees.
  • Provide HR support with job classification and terminations according to policies and principals.
  • Provide solutions to employees for HR related queries.
  • Assist in the execution of HR projects such as employee engagement, our culture survey and other activities that drives culture and supports internal equity and the organization's competitiveness.
  • Ownership and administration of company recognition programs.
  • Ensure compliance regarding regulations and laws by executing necessary policies and procedures.
  • Anticipate and identify emerging issues, trends and problems that affect the policies and programs of Navigatr Group.
  • Identify and address issues that affect the overall health of the organization; morale, effectiveness, turnover, absenteeism, and productivity.
  • Perform continuous evaluation, development and execution of policies, programs and processes.
  • Provide administrative support, data analysis and reports
  • Creation of job-aids or support tools for employees in use of ADP.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or College diploma in Business, Human Resources or a related discipline is required.
  • 1-2 years of increasing human resources experience ideally in a global, high-growth, entrepreneurial organization.
  • Experience with both Canadian and US Employment Laws and benefits programs would be beneficial.
  • Demonstrated success in leading through growth periods & driving continuous improvement.
  • Proven track record of successful partnerships with leaders and ability to build and sustain relationships.
  • Team player that thrives in face paced, ever-changing, matrixed, and entrepreneurial environment.
  • Demonstrates unquestioned integrity and moral character, passion, and an outward energy that creates enthusiasm in others.
  • Ability to balance strategic responsibilities with day- to-day tactical responsibilities.
  • A proactive results-oriented individual who digs in and gets involved.
  • Articulate with superior communication skills and excellent presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated Microsoft Office usage with strong reporting capabilities.
  • Ability to anticipate and address emerging business needs and issues.
