Key Responsibilities
- Develop & Lead Marketing Strategy: Architect and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy that drives brand awareness, customer acquisition, and lead generation.
- Digital Advertising Programs: Establish, optimize, and scale paid search, LinkedIn, and YouTube ad campaigns from the ground up.
- Metrics-Driven Approach: Continuously monitor, analyze, and report on the effectiveness of campaigns with a focus on KPIs such as CAC, ROAS, and LTV.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with sales, product, and data teams to align marketing initiatives with business objectives and ensure consistent messaging.
- Content & Brand Leadership: Oversee content creation, social media strategy, and thought leadership initiatives to position Shakudo as a leader in the data and AI space.
- Team Development: Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing marketing team as the company grows.
Requirements
- Proven Experience: 7+ years of experience in marketing roles with at least 3 years at the Head/Director level in Series A/B startups, especially in the data and AI sectors.
- Technical Marketing Expertise: Demonstrated success in starting and scaling paid search, LinkedIn, and YouTube ad programs.
- Data-Driven Mindset: Strong analytical skills with a history of using metrics to drive marketing decisions.
- Startup Focus: Must have stable tenures with past employers; we are seeking a candidate who is not a job-hopper but instead demonstrates commitment and results.
- Location Requirement: Must be based in Toronto, ON.
- Hands-On & Strategic: Willing to roll up your sleeves while also thinking strategically to drive growth and innovation.

- Experience with AI-driven marketing automation tools.
