Kodex is a tool for streamlined communication between companies and law enforcement, regulators, and other government agencies. On the law enforcement side, the portal provides an easier, faster, and more secure way to send legal process and exchange data with companies globally. On the company side, Kodex helps legal response teams manage the numerous subpoenas and summons for sensitive information they receive daily. 


The Role


The Company is looking for a Head of Marketing who will be responsible for driving brand growth and community engagement. In this role, you will develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies that align with the company's business goals. The Head of Marketing will identify and collaborate with partner organizations and key stakeholders to understand community needs, build relationships, and collaborate on impactful outcomes. This role will advocate for the Company in channels that effectively reach the compliance, regulation, and policy communities, as well as lead all events seeking to build the Company's awareness and educate both the public and private sectors. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the brand message is consistent and effectively communicated to the Company’s audiences. Our marketing needs currently are stronger communications, positioning and events.

Responsibilities

  • Marketing Management: Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase brand awareness, drive customer acquisition, and enhance customer retention.
  • Relationship Management: Collaborate with the Government Relations and Sales team to educate and build relationships with prospective clients and key government stakeholders, guiding them from awareness to consideration. 
  • Event Planning: Organize and attend trade shows, conferences, and coalitions on behalf of the company to strategically connect with current clients, prospective clients, and key government agencies. Plan booths, activations, and panel discussions to further build the Company’s awareness. Organize and execute events with clients with the goal of driving new business. 
  • Paid Marketing: Manage our growth marketing agency and paid marketing activities.
  • PR: Manage of our PR agency and all activities. 
  • Industry Specific Content: Launch educational materials for the prospective clients and government agencies, such as lunch & learns and webinars. 
  • Brand Building: Create and communicate a positive image for the Company at a global level, aligned with key messaging from the PR team. 
  • Data Driven: Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
  • Strategy: Create localized strategies to target prospective clients with a “win every deal” mindset, leveraging the Company’s existing client and law enforcement relationships.
  • Team: Be a team player and assist in whatever is company priority.
  • Manage all marketing facets: Digital channels, digital advertising, email, social media, messaging and story development, copywriting, website design, public relations, partnerships and collaborations, and other areas to be determined by you.

What you bring

  • 8+ years of experience in a senior marketing role 
  • Experience in the legal / compliance industry preferred and for SAAS products
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing and traditional marketing channels
  • Experience managing relationships with community groups / organizations
  • Experience leading teams directly and cross-functionally related to compliance, regulation, and policy
  • Experience managing marketing and PR agencies
  • Excellent written, verbal, and professional communication skills
  • The ability to navigate the public & private sector landscapes
  • Enjoys working with external customers and takes personal pride and ownership to make them successful
  • Highly creative and curious about clients’ products or services
