Basetwo is a fast-growing Toronto-based AI startup backed by some of the top VCs in the Boston, New York, and Bay Area ecosystems. We work with some of the largest Fortune 500 chemical, cosmetics and pharmaceutical manufacturers and provide their process engineers and scientists with a next generation AI platform. Our platform provides these engineers with the ability to build digital twins of their production processes in order to accelerate and optimize process development, scale up and quality control.

About the Role: We're looking for a curious, data-driven Growth Marketing Specialist to help us grow our presence in a highly technical, niche market. This isn't a generic marketing role; you'll be reaching technical leaders at some of the world's largest manufacturers. You'll own campaign execution, experiment across channels, and work closely with our sales and product teams to turn awareness into pipeline. A test-and-learn mindset is at the heart of how we work.

What You'll Do

  • Plan and execute demand generation and ABM campaigns across LinkedIn, Google, and email, targeting technical buyer personas in key industries (chemical, pharma, and personal care)
  • Build and optimize email nurture sequences and automated workflows in our CRM (HubSpot)
  • Run A/B tests on ads, creative, and messaging to improve conversion rates
  • Monitor and report on full-funnel performance, tracking conversion sources
  • Support SEO efforts through keyword research and identifying opportunities to improve discoverability, with an awareness of emerging generative AI platforms
  • Support website performance by running conversion tests and monitoring traffic metrics
  • Track and report on key metrics (MQLs, CAC, ROAS, pipeline contribution) and present insights to the team
  • Help build and maintain campaign dashboards so we always know what's working

Requirements
  • 2–3 years of experience in growth, demand gen, or digital marketing in a B2B environment
  • Hands-on experience running paid campaigns (LinkedIn Ads strongly preferred for B2B)
  • Familiarity with CRM and marketing automation tools (HubSpot or similar)
  • Familiarity with SEO tools and best practices (SEMrush or similar)
  • Comfortable with data, building reports, spotting trends, and making decisions from metrics
  • Strong written communication skills; you can translate complex ideas for a technical audience
  • A test-and-learn mindset; you're not afraid to try something, measure it, and iterate
  • Bonus: experience marketing to engineers, scientists, or other technical buyers

Nice to Have

  • Background in or exposure to AI, ML, or SaaS tools
  • Background in or exposure to manufacturing, chemical engineering, or pharma
  • Experience at an early-stage startup environment
  • Familiarity with ABM platforms
