CodeRabbit is an innovative research and development company focused on building extraordinarily productive human-machine collaboration systems. Our primary goal is to create the next generation of Gen AI-driven code reviewers: a symbiotic partnership between humans and advanced algorithms that significantly outperforms individual engineers. We combine language models with human ingenuity to push the boundaries of software development efficiency and quality.

About the Role

As an analytics-driven engineer, you'll be crucial in deciphering customer behavior within CodeRabbit. You'll build automated systems to predict user actions, identify key engagement points, and inform our product development. This role demands strong coding abilities combined with the skill to translate complex data into successful product strategies and their implementation.

What we're looking for
  • A builder who thinks in systems and code, not just SQL queries and dashboards

  • Ability to spot patterns in messy data and turn them into actionable insights

  • Obsession with understanding why users do what they do

  • Strong opinions about what metrics actually matter

  • Passion for using AI to automate analysis and surface insights

Your responsibilities
  • Own our north star metrics and make them go up and to the right

  • Find "aha moments" that turn users into paying customers & shape our dev roadmap

  • Build automated systems that tell us when something is wrong before our users do

  • Own our dashboards and tools and use them to make all of us data-driven

  • Build and run a killer A/B testing program for product & marketing initiatives

Skills & Qualifications
  • Expert in SQL and query optimisation

  • Strong with GCP (BigQuery, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub)

  • Hands-on with Chargebee and PostHog (event tracking, funnels, retention) and Grafana (dashboards, alerts)

  • Experience building and maintaining ETL/data pipelines (Airflow, dbt, or similar)

  • Proficient in Python or Go for data processing and automation

  • Skilled in data modeling (star/snowflake schemas, warehouse design)

  • Comfortable with API integrations for SaaS and internal data sources

  • Knowledge of growth metrics (activation, retention, LTV, CAC) and A/B testing

  • Experience with data governance and quality checks

  • Background in B2B SaaS or developer tools preferred

Our Values
  1. Collaborative Humans: Prioritising collective intelligence

  2. Fearless Innovators: Turning obstacles into growth opportunities

  3. Persistent Passionate Developers: Thriving on complex, long-term challenges

  4. Impact-Driven Creators: Crafting intuitive tools for developers

  5. Rapid Learners and Un-learners: Adapting quickly in our fast-paced technological world

What We Offer
  1. Work on cutting-edge technology with real-world impact

  2. Collaborative and innovative environment

  3. Competitive salary, equity, and benefits

  4. Professional development opportunities

Base pay range for the role is 180k- 280k. Actual salary will be based on job-related skills, experience, and location.
