About the Role
Monks is looking for a Graphic Designer, Data to join our Data team, to provide creative and design support for a diverse range of projects. In this role, you will be responsible for creating visually compelling designs that effectively communicate our brand message, technical solutions and services, and data thought leadership across various platforms. You’ll know how to craft compelling visual content from direct briefs, to open ended opportunities working with a variety of stakeholders across the NAMER Data team.
You will work on a range of materials including paid media assets, rich long form and short form content visuals, sales collateral ranging from pitch decks to webinar materials, website UI/UX, and more. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop and promote the brand voice of Monks’ Data capability internally, and help visualize the data services and technical solutions we deliver.
Responsibilities:
- Develop engaging and visually appealing Sales Collateral, including pitch decks, slide decks, and one-pagers that effectively communicate complex ideas to clients and stakeholders.
- Create webinar materials including slides, charts, graphics, and promotional assets that enhance viewer engagement and understanding.
- Interpret and fulfill creative briefs for long form and short form content assets on digital and social channels.
- Design and optimize UI/UX elements on digital platforms including web pages and landing pages, ensuring a seamless and user-friendly experience that aligns with our brand identity.
- Create paid media assets with a data-driven approach, and focus on iterative design and A/B testing.
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to create email templates and content layouts that are visually consistent and on-brand
- Gather feedback from stakeholders and iterate on designs to refine and enhance the content with timely outcomes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Growth, and Product stakeholders, to support their design needs and contribute to team initiatives.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate creative ideas and problem-solve design challenges.
About YouThe essentials:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in design, preferably in a corporate or agency setting.
- Proficiency in design software (Adobe Creative Suite, Figma) and other relevant design tools.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design work, including corporate materials, digital design, and branding projects.
- Ability to interpret brand guidelines through understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout.
- Familiarity with video design (After Effects, Adobe Premier, Motion) considered an asset
- Strong attention to detail, and passion for creating high-quality work.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communicator with the ability to articulate design concepts and rationale to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on job-related factors, but not based on a candidate’s sex or any other protected status.
