What we offer:

  • Hourly pay for this position is to start at $25.75, plus overtime after 44 hours.
  • Permanent and full-time position;
  • 44 hours per week, including some rotating weekend work
  • Opportunity for overtime;
  • Group insurance after 3 months;
  • Group RRSP after 6 months (optional);
  • Workwear and work boots provided after 3 months;

Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Non Ferrous Receiver with experience for Stratford location. Under the supervision of the Site Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for the general maintenance of the premises. 

  • Receive, sort and organize different types of ferrous metals
  • Cover the scale and weigh in trucks when required using the RECY system to properly weigh and track the material
  • Do general maintenance of the premises
  • Ensure the equipment in good condition
  • Provide excellent customer service to clients on site
  • Operate the Fork lift as required
  • Work with a safety oriented mindset

Qualifications

  • Good computer skills 
  • Experience in operating a crane
  • Experience in metal recycling considered an asset
  • Ability to work indoors/outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Good physical fitness
  • Ability to work as a team
