Job Description

As a General Labourer, you'll play an integral role in keeping our operations running smoothly. You'll get hands-on experience working with metal materials, all while learning about the importance of sustainability and environmental responsibility.

What you're responsible for:

  • Sorting and segregating different types of ferrous and non ferrous materials
  • Operating machinery and equipment used in the recycling process
  • Inspecting, loading, and unloading of customer vehicles and trucks
  • Performing depollution of vehicles including removing oils, gas, coolant, etc
  • Conducting basic maintenance and cleaning of equipment and work areas
  • Following safety protocols and ensuring a safe working environment

Qualifications

To join our team:

  • You are a current student or have recently finished school
  • You are 18 years of age or older
  • You are comfortable working in a loud, dusty, heavy industrial environment
  • You are comfortable performing repetitive lifting up to 50lbs
  • You have the ability to work in a physically demanding environment
  • You have a willingness to learn and perform various tasks
