Job Overview

The FX Sales Executive is responsible for managing relationships with existing client accounts while also prospecting and developing new business opportunities. The role acts as the key interface between clients and the dealing team, ensuring efficient execution of FX transactions and high-quality client service.

This position works closely with Compliance and Risk teams to ensure full adherence to regulatory frameworks and internal policies. The role requires a strong understanding of Monex products and the regulatory environment to ensure solutions are delivered in the best long-term interests of clients, while maintaining fair and compliant outcomes for both the client and the firm.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow relationships with existing client accounts to maximise revenue and retention
  • Prospect and acquire new clients through outbound sales activity and networking
  • Serve as the primary liaison between clients and the internal dealing team
  • Maintain a strong understanding of Monex FX products and solutions
  • Ensure all client activity is conducted in line with regulatory and compliance requirements
  • Work closely with Compliance and Risk teams to ensure adherence to internal policies and industry regulations
  • Maintain accurate records of client activity, pipelines, and forecasts within CRM systems
  • Stay informed on market developments, competitor activity, and regulatory changes
  • Contribute to the delivery of fair client outcomes and long-term relationship value

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience in FX sales, financial services sales, or a related client-facing financial role
  • Strong understanding of FX products and financial markets
  • Proven ability to manage client relationships and generate new business
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong commercial awareness and ability to identify sales opportunities
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
  • Strong attention to detail and adherence to compliance requirements

Additional Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field preferred
  • Experience using CRM systems and sales tools
  • Knowledge of financial regulation and compliance frameworks is advantageous
  • Additional language skills are a plus
