To keep pace with our continued growth, we are in need of a Funds Lawyer, who has solid experience in investment funds and a deep understanding of Canadian securities regulations.
As a Caravel Immigration Lawyer, You will:
  • Draft, review, and advise on offering documents, fund agreements, and disclosure materials across various fund structures (e.g., mutual funds, pooled funds, limited partnerships).
  • Provide legal support on fund registration, governance, and regulatory filings.
  • Advise on compliance matters affecting fund managers, portfolio managers, and exempt market dealers.
  • Monitor legal and regulatory developments in the Canadian investment funds space and assess their impact on products and operations.

What would YOU Bring:
  • 8+ years of experience in investment funds, asset management, or securities law, ideally from an in-house legal team.
  • Familiarity with the Canadian securities regulatory environment and fund-related instruments.
  • Actively licensed and in good standing as a lawyer in a Canadian province.
