About the Role
We're hiring a Full Stack Engineer to join our core engineering team in Toronto. You'll own features end-to-end — from API design and data modelling on the backend to the dashboards and workflows enterprise recruiters use every day to act on Tofu's fraud and identity signals.
What You'll Do
- Build user-facing product features that surface fraud detection, deepfake analysis, and identity verification results to enterprise recruiting teams.
- Design and implement backend APIs and services connecting Tofu's detection models, scoring systems, and frontend surfaces.
- Develop responsive, accessible UIs in React that turn complex risk data into clear, actionable workflows.
- Contribute to data pipelines and integrations with ATS platforms and customer systems.
- Partner with design, product, and ML to ship features quickly without sacrificing quality.

- Strong proficiency across the stack — Python on the backend and React/TypeScript on the frontend.
- Experience designing and consuming RESTful
- Experience building applications on cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong proficiency in SQL.
