Full Stack Java Developer
We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Java Developer to design, develop, and support integration components for onboarding to the Broadridge R-Wealth platform as part of the Multi-Holding Account Conversion program.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services, APIs, and data-processing components using Java and Spring Boot
- Build and enhance integration layers to support data migration and onboarding to the Broadridge R-Wealth platform
- Implement complex data transformation, validation, reconciliation, error handling, and logging mechanisms
- Support orchestration and sequencing of integrations with upstream SMS mainframe systems and downstream platforms including CIF, Investment Management, Finance, and DaaS
- Participate in unit, integration, and system testing, defect resolution, and deployment activities
- Implement robust audit logging, resiliency, and recovery mechanisms
- Provide support for mock conversions and cutover activities
Required Experience & Skills
- 6+ years of hands-on Java development experience (Java 8/11/17, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs)
- Experience integrating with Broadridge R-Wealth or similar wealth management platforms
- Strong understanding of the wealth management domain, including mutual funds, securities, accounts, holdings, transactions, and valuations
- Experience integrating with mainframe systems (e.g., MQ, file-based integrations, or API gateways)
- Proficiency in SQL, data mapping and transformation, ETL concepts, and reconciliation logic
- Experience with Git, Jenkins, Maven/Gradle, and cloud or on-premise deployments
- Knowledge of Canadian securities and wealth operations is a strong asset
