Who You Will Work With:

Reporting directly to the Leader, Product FP&A, the Senior Business Partner, Product FP&A will play a key role in financial planning activities, working closely with business partners to support budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and decision-making.

What You Will Do:  ​

  • Leading financial planning activities for Interac’s Product portfolio, including budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and business performance analysis.

  • Developing financial models, forecasts, business cases, and executive reporting to support investment decisions, portfolio management, and business growth.

  • Partnering with Product, Client, Financial Operations, and Corporate FP&A teams to provide financial insights, decision support, and performance reporting.

  • Providing financial governance over commercial initiatives, revenue recognition, accruals, resource planning, and product economics.

  • Ad hoc analysis and projects as requested.

What You Bring: 

  • 5+ years of experience in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.

  • A value-driven mindset, with a proven history of partnering with business users to improve processes and develop solutions that achieve organizational goals.

  • Experience with large data sets, producing valuable insights to support strategic decisions.

  • Advanced Excel skills, with the ability to create complex formulas, pivot tables, and models.

  • A solid understanding of accounting principles, particularly in relation to expense recognition.

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial principles to non-financial users.

  • Agility and adaptability, comfort with ambiguity, and a drive for continuous learning.  

  • Eligibility to work for Interac Corp. in Canada in a full-time capacity.

The hiring range for this position is $120,000 – $140,000, and you will also be eligible for our short-term incentive plan. The exact amount will depend on factors such as skills, experience, and job-related knowledge, but Interac’s commitment goes beyond compensation.
