Our business model combines brand growth with disciplined financial management, supporting franchise partners through rigorous site economics, unit performance analytics, and systemwide forecasting to drive sustainable expansion. We operate in a rapidly growing, entrepreneurial environment where financial insight directly informs strategic decisions across development pacing, capital allocation, pricing, and margin optimization. The FP&A Manager will play a critical role in turning financial and operational data into actionable insight that guides leadership and the Board, strengthens financial discipline, and underpins our next phase of growth.

Position Overview

The FP&A Manager will lead financial planning and analysis for JETSET Pilates Franchising, owning the annual budget, rolling forecasts, and management and Board reporting on internal company performance. Partnering closely with department leaders, Business Finance counterparts, and Accounting, this role reinforces a strong controllership environment, translates results into actionable insights, and serves as a trusted advisor to the executive team on performance, resource allocation, and strategic priorities.

Key Responsibilities

    Budgeting, Forecasting & Financial Planning:

  • Lead the annual budgeting process end to end, including the planning calendar, templates, departmental submissions, review cycles, and final consolidation for executive and Board approval

  • Own monthly and quarterly rolling forecasts, incorporating input from department leaders and Business Finance counterparts

  • Build and maintain financial models anchored in key business drivers covering revenue, operating expenses, headcount, and cash flow

  • Develop multiyear plans and scenario analyses to support strategic initiatives, investment decisions, and capital allocation

  • Monitor performance against budget and forecast, flagging risks and opportunities early and recommending corrective actions

  • Partner with department leaders and People/HR on headcount and operating expense planning

  • Management & Board Reporting:

  • Own the monthly management reporting package, including the P&L, budget versus actual and forecast variance analysis, and key performance indicators

  • Prepare Board materials and financial presentations that clearly communicate company performance, outlook, and key decisions

  • Deliver concise executive commentary explaining the drivers behind results, trends, and variances

  • Ensure consistency between management reporting, Board reporting, and the accounting close

  • Business Partnership & Actionable Insights:

  • Serve as the primary finance partner to department leaders, helping them understand the financial drivers, outputs, and tradeoffs of their business

  • Collaborate with Business Finance counterparts to align assumptions, methodologies, and reporting across the organization

  • Evaluate departmental spend effectiveness and return on investment, for example:

  • Marketing: campaign and promotion performance, customer acquisition cost, retention, and lifetime value

  • Development: franchise sales pipeline, studio opening pacing, and royalty revenue trends

  • General & Administrative: vendor spend, headcount productivity, and operating leverage

  • Controllership & Accounting Partnership:

  • Partner with Accounting on the monthly close, reviewing results for accuracy and completeness before they are reported

  • Reinforce strong controllership through budget ownership, spend approvals, purchasing and invoice workflows, and proper general ledger coding

  • Support internal controls, audit requests, and documentation of finance policies and procedures

  • Analytics, Systems & Reporting Tools:

  • Use the company’s financial, accounting, and BI tools to build, refine, and expand JETSET’s financial reports and dashboards

  • Collaborate with BI team members to ensure data accuracy and give department leaders direct access to reporting

  • Present complex financial information in a clear, accessible format for audiences without a finance background

  • Leadership & Continuous Improvement:

  • Improve the speed, accuracy, and scalability of planning, forecasting, and reporting processes

  • Identify opportunities for automation and system enhancements across FP&A workflows

  • Mentor and develop financial analysts, fostering a culture of accountability and analytical excellence
