We’re searching for a Toronto or Chicago based FP&A Analyst to join our Finance team, so that we can analyze cost structures, build financial reports, and create summaries that provide actionable insights for the team. The FP&A Analyst will support the development of comprehensive budgets, forecasts, and financial models that inform strategic decisions and drive business performance. 

 

How You’ll Spend Your Time 

  • Prepare financial summaries that support business unit reporting, ensuring alignment with established processes  

  • Consolidate routine financial data to create clear analytical outputs for team use in operational decision-making  

  • Support the development of standard budgets and forecasts by gathering and organizing relevant financial information  

  • Utilize established data analysis methods to process business unit performance metrics, ensuring data completeness for reporting  

  • Assist in implementing process enhancements as directed, supporting continuous improvement objectives 

 

What Kind of Things We’re Most Interested in You Having 

  • Previous experience as a Financial Analyst or similar role within a B2B company, ideally a SaaS business model 

  • Proven success supporting the creation of financial reports (expense, headcount, revenue, sales, etc.) for business units by analyzing cost drivers and structures 

  • In-depth knowledge of financial processes and monthly accounting close processes 

  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel; experience with NetSuite, Salesforce, SAP SAC, or other financial systems preferred 

  • Ability to commute to your local office (Toronto or Chicago) 2-3 days per week 

  • Sincere interest in process improvement and gaining insights into strategic business operations 

  • A knack for working with a strong attention to detail within a fast-paced environment
