Position Summary

As a Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for preparing budgets, analyzing financial data, generating forecasts, and providing actionable insights to senior stakeholders. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to support performance monitoring, cost optimization, and revenue tracking.

What You’ll Do

  • Analyze financial performance and prepare regular reports on key metrics including revenue, costs, profitability, and variance analysis.
  • Support the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes.
  • Collaborate with business units to understand performance drivers and provide financial insights to support decision-making.
  • Utilize tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Adaptive Planning to design and deliver dashboards and data visualizations.
  • Work with ERP systems (e.g., Workday, Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics) to extract, consolidate, and analyze financial data.
  • Assist in monthly and quarterly close processes, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial information.
  • Prepare ad hoc reports and financial models for special projects and senior leadership presentations.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline reporting processes and improve data quality.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2–3 years of experience in a Financial Analyst or similar role.
  • Proficient in using budgeting and analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Adaptive Planning.
  • Experience working with ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, or Workday.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent Excel skills; experience with financial modeling is a plus.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):
    • Experience working in service sector organizations, particularly media, advertising, or consulting industries.
    • Familiarity with project-based financial reporting or client profitability analysis.

Salary at DAC is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected total compensation range for this position is starting at $55,000 to $60,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of DAC’s total compensation package for employees.
