Financial Analyst


Maple Reinders is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Financial Analyst to join our dynamic and growing finance team in Mississauga, Ontario. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in financial analysis, corporate tax and working with consolidated financials in a multi-division environment. An entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving industry are highly valued.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive financial analysis and reporting for multiple divisions.
  • Prepare and analyze consolidated financial statements.
  • Utilize Excel, Vena, and Power BI to develop and maintain financial models and dashboards.
  • Collaborate with divisional finance teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting for multiple divisions, businesses and joint ventures.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on financial data.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning processes across departments, divisions and related businesses.
  • Assist in corporate tax planning, compliance and audit.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies.
  • Participate in special projects and ad-hoc analysis as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA designation or significant progress towards it is highly preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Vena, and Power BI.
  • Proven experience working in a company with multiple divisions and consolidated financials.
  • Strong accounting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with senior level management and collaborate across functions.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to challenges and opportunities.
  • Experience with corporate tax planning and compliance is an asset.

Salary Range: $65,000 - $85,000 / Year (depending on experience)
