This Financial Analyst, FP&A role is an exciting entry point into a high-performing FP&A function — offering a hands-on opportunity to build your foundation in month-end reporting, financial reconciliations, and business analysis while working alongside experienced finance leaders.

This is a role for someone early in their finance career who is eager to learn, detail-driven, and ready to roll up their sleeves. You'll gain direct exposure to complex, multi-system financial environments and work cross-functionally with IT and Operations — building the skills and business knowledge that set the foundation for long-term career growth at Dentalcorp.

Who You Are

  • Detail-oriented and accurate — you catch discrepancies before anyone else does

  • A self-starter who takes ownership of tasks and follows through without being chased

  • Comfortable working with data across multiple systems and tools

  • A collaborative team player who communicates clearly and asks for help when needed

  • Eager to learn — you approach new challenges with curiosity, not hesitation

  • Open to exploring new technology, including AI tools that can improve the way finance work gets done

  • Resilient and adaptable in a fast-moving, high-growth environment

Our team shares a common mindset: we move fast, we hold ourselves to a high standard, and we believe great finance work is ultimately about enabling better business decisions. Comfort with ambiguity, a passion for continuous improvement, and genuine care for the patient experience at the heart of our business are traits that define our most successful team members.

The Impact You’ll Have

Reporting to the Manager, FP&A, you will play a key role in supporting the accuracy and integrity of financial data that underpins business decisions across Dentalcorp's growing network of practices. You will develop your analytical foundation through hands-on exposure to month-end reporting, reconciliations, and cross-functional collaboration.

In This Role, You Will

Month-End Reporting & Validation

  • Support the month-end close process by validating the accuracy and completeness of financial reports

  • Identify and flag discrepancies in month-end outputs, working with relevant stakeholders to investigate and resolve issues in a timely manner

  • Assist the FP&A Manager in running basic month-end analysis, including variance commentary and trend identification

  • Prepare and distribute standard monthly reporting packages to internal stakeholders

Reconciliations & Data Integrity

  • Perform reconciliations across multiple financial systems to ensure data consistency and accuracy

  • Run revenue reconciliations between source systems, identifying root causes of variances and escalating where required

  • Maintain reconciliation logs and documentation to support audit readiness and process transparency

  • Proactively flag data quality issues and work cross-functionally to drive resolution

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with IT and Operations teams to manage day-to-day financial data activities and support system-related queries

  • Act as a liaison between Finance and operational teams to ensure financial data flows accurately across systems

  • Support ad hoc data and reporting requests from the FP&A team and business partners as needed

Learning & Development

  • Participate in cross-training opportunities to broaden your understanding of the FP&A function

  • Contribute to the documentation of processes and SOPs to support knowledge sharing across the team

  • Stay curious — actively explore tools and technologies, including AI, that can improve the efficiency and quality of finance deliverables

What You’ll Bring

Experience & Technical Skills

  • 1–2 years of experience in a finance, accounting, or analytical role (FP&A, corporate finance, or public accounting background is an asset)
  • Solid Excel skills — comfortable with formulas, pivot tables, and working with large datasets
  • Experience with or exposure to ERP systems and BI/reporting tools is an asset
  • Familiarity with reconciliation processes and financial close cycles
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and data integrity
  • Basic understanding of financial statements and P&L reporting
  • An open and curious mindset toward learning new tools, systems, and processes — including AI-enabled finance workflows
