About This Role

The Financial Analyst, Financial Reporting will be responsible of the following functions:
- Participate in the Flight Services Division’s vision, strategy and ensure the accounting processes are followed
- Participate in the annual budget process for the division, including the preparation of reports to upper management
- Complete monthly forecasting for all financial statements
- Support finance integrations of our growing Flight Services business unit and help put in place the appropriate financial infrastructure to support the business.
- Participate in the month-end close process including the preparation of HFM journal entries
- Provide accounting analysis support to the business units on various accounting issues
- Prepare monthly Profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow variance analysis
- Interact with the different groups (Tax, Treasury, internal audit, corporate) to respond to ad hoc inquiries
- Consult on new or changing business transactions to ensure proper accounting treatment consistent with the global business
- Ensure all standard processes and policy are applied and all transactions are correctly recorded.
- Participate in special projects in collaboration with other teams

Our ideal candidate has:
- Professional accounting designation mandatory (CPA);
- Minimum of 5 years of similar experience;
- Strong knowledge of IFRS;
- Detailed oriented with a high level of accuracy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Self-starter- demonstrate high level of initiative and autonomy.
- Strong planning and organizational skills to balance and prioritize work.
- Able to thrive in an often fast paced and deadline-oriented business requiring development and refinement of processes and procedures
- Comfortable dealing with accounting and financial transactions and issues and able to provide sound recommendations.
- Ability to work effectively with various stakeholders.
- Knowledge of HFM and / or Oracle system is an asset
- Experience with M&A integrations and building financial planning and reporting infrastructure from the ground up is an asset
- Proficient in Excel.
- Bilingual (French and English). English required.
