We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized professional to join our Finance team as a Finance Manager.
Responsibilities:- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, ensuring accurate and timely financial statements and management reporting.
- Manage treasury operations, including cash flow forecasting, liquidity planning, working capital, and daily cash positioning.
- Oversee the company’s debt portfolio, including financing facilities, repayment schedules, interest costs, covenants, and refinancing requirements.
- Maintain and develop banking relationships, managing day-to-day bank requirements and coordinating financing activities.
- Negotiate with banks on credit facilities, interest rates, financing terms, fees, renewals, and refinancing arrangements to optimize funding costs.
- Prepare cash flow forecasts, debt analysis, treasury reports, and financial insights for senior management and strategic decision-making.
- Coordinate with banks, auditors, legal advisors, and other external stakeholders on financing, reporting, and compliance matters.
- Monitor liquidity, funding requirements, financial risks, and debt maturities, proactively identifying potential issues and recommending solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; CPA, CFA, MBA, or equivalent designation is an asset.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in finance, treasury, banking, or corporate finance, preferably within a management capacity.
- Strong experience in financial reporting, financial analysis, cash flow forecasting, and budgeting.
- Demonstrated experience managing debt facilities, credit arrangements, financing requirements, and lender relationships.
- Proven ability to negotiate with banks and financial institutions on financing terms, interest rates, credit facilities, renewals, and refinancing.
- Strong knowledge of treasury management, liquidity planning, working capital, and cash management.
- Strong communication and relationship-management skills with the ability to work effectively with banks, auditors, legal advisors, and senior leadership.
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills, with experience using ERP/treasury systems and producing management reports.
- Strong leadership, analytical, negotiation, and decision-making skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
