Overview:
The Finance Business Partner, is an individual contributor role, who interacts with a wide range of individuals both across the business and within finance to assist in managing the SWA and Subscription P&L. This includes forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting and analysis of the recurring business.
Responsibilities:

Act as global finance business partner to leaders of the Software Assurance organization

Support the close process and review accruals and financial postings for completeness and comparison to forecast
-
Directly accesses SAP, Planful (forecasting) and other systems and extracts data to analyze information in support of the business

Prepare monthly financial results for business leaders, including detailed financial results packages and slide decks
-
Improve financial KPI and create bridges that identify MoM variances in revenue and cost
-
Work closely with finance and the business to develop the annual operating plan and quarterly forecasts to accurately reflect current expectations of the business

Assist in business case development and tracing the actual results

Continuously look to increase efficiency through process automation

Ad hoc analysis and reports, as required per business needs
Requirements:
-
Legally authorized to work in Canada
-
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting or related field
-
7 - 8+ years of experience in FP&A or combination of financial positions that include FP&A
-
Previous experience working as a Finance Business Partner working closely with the business and HR
-
Proficient working experience in SAP required
-
Highly proficient in MS Excel
-
Experience in Planful, Tableau and Workday preferred.

Ability to work with large and disparate data sets from multiple sources/systems and simplify the information for intended purpose

Ability to manage competing priorities and work independently while meeting deliverables under tight time constraints
