Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complies with good manufacturing practices
  • Maintains accurate records (i.e. chart recorders)
  • Supports quality system
  • Maintains communication within production team member ensuring smooth shift transitions, etc.
  • Support technical in appropriate maintenance activities
  • Monitors raw materials, supplies to ensure efficient production
  • Ensure adequate supply of packaging materials and communicate resource requirements for replenishment
  • Determine acceptable quality ranges on packaging
  • Coordinate communication between RPS Operator and DE Operators
  • Participate, and sometimes lead, daily operations meetings
  • Responsible for start-up of filler.
  • Monitor weights, seals, caps, and general packaging of product.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve basic to moderate operating difficulties.
  • Collect required samples needed for QA testing.
  • Ensure that the proper packaging materials are used for each product being produced.
  • Ability to perform filler changeovers in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Prepare equipment for next run to include size changes as needed.
  • Complete cleaning checklist once line has completed run.
  • Sanitation of equipment
  • Perform package integrity testing

Minimum Requirements:

  • Post-secondary or equivalent experience required
  • 3-5 years manufacturing related experience
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of good manufacturing practices
