Shift Details: Afternoon shift Monday-Thursday 4:00PM-2:10AM
Job Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate and program laser machine utilizing various CNC programs.
- Carry out quality checks on an ongoing basis to ensure job is within tolerance.
- Follow and participate in 4DX activities
- Follow and participate in 5S activities
- Ensure pre-start checks are complete
- Perform daily and weekly maintenance / troubleshooting of laser equipment as required.
- Meet tight deadlines and production needs as required.
- Responsible for troubleshooting programming problems on machine
- Utilize material handling equipment as required.
- Adhere to established quality and housekeeping standards.
Qualifications:
- Previous exposure to Laser operations an asset.
- Previous related automotive manufacturing experience an asset.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
