Job Description

The LEGO® Group is currently looking for a Field Sales Manager to join our office in Canada! In this role, you will lead the building of sustainable new businesses by opening, managing and developing new accounts while supporting the distributor.

Core Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with new customers and the distributor to understand their needs, preferences, and business goals.

  • Joint Business Plan development, alignment and execution; planning, tracking and review cadence to deliver on targets for responsible channel; coaching and support to customers and distributors

  • Sell-in order management, including handshake and replenishment process to ensure novelty launch success.

  • Conduct regular field visits to assess sales activities, provide guidance, and gather market intelligence.

  • Collaborate with Sales and Operations to ensure alignment on sales initiatives and promotional activities.

  • Bring to life innovative ways of delivering outstanding inventory turns through fact-based analyses and insights.

  • Negotiate contracts and pricing with key accounts to increase profitability while maintaining client satisfaction.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Demonstrated consumer packaged goods and selling experience or customer relationship management preferred

  • Highly entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to work independently in ambiguous business environment

  • Regularly exceeds performance expectations

  • Demonstrates key strengths: leadership, negotiation skills, analytical abilities, decision making, strong communication skills, team orientation, and integrity

  • Self-motivated and strong planning, organizational and execution skills

  • Sales acumen and understanding of sales processes

  • Ability to analyze sales data and performance metrics

  • Experience in field sales and knowledge of the industry
