What you'll do

As an Executive Assistant, you will provide comprehensive administrative and organizational support to the Executive Vice President & Chief Human Resources Officer. This role is ideal for a proactive, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in supporting senior leadership. You will act as an extension of the EVP’s office, ensuring smooth operations, delivering high-quality executive support, and contributing to various HR and enterprise initiatives. A key aspect of the role includes developing executive presentations and communication materials.

  • Deliver daily administrative support to senior leaders, including scheduling meetings, coordinating on-site events, and managing communications.

  • Oversee complex executive schedules using Microsoft Outlook, proactively identifying opportunities to optimize time and priorities.

  • Develop polished, executive-ready presentations and materials by transforming content and direction provided by senior leaders into visually compelling and impactful communications

  • Manage all administrative aspects of meeting and event coordination, including logistics, travel arrangements, expense reporting, and related documentation.

  • Serve as a trusted point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring timely, professional, and confidential communication.

  • Maintain financial and budget documentation using Excel.

  • Liaise with senior executives and board members to support key meetings and strategic initiatives.

  • Handle sensitive HR, financial, and business information with the highest level of discretion and confidentiality.

  • Support onboarding activities, team events, and quarterly meetings.

What you bring

  • Experience: 5+ years supporting senior-level executives in a fast-paced, professional environment.

  • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel). Familiarity with SAP Concur and Copilot is an asset.

  • Executive Presentation Development: Exceptional PowerPoint and presentation design skills, with a proven ability to create polished, executive-ready presentations. Strong understanding of visual storytelling, formatting, and presentation best practices.

  • Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

  • Problem-Solving & Project Management: Ability to take ownership of tasks, think creatively, and resolve issues efficiently.

  • Independence & Initiative: Highly self-sufficient, dependable, and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

  • Relationship Building: Proven ability to establish valuable relationships across all levels of the organization.

  • Professionalism: Maintains discretion and confidentiality while supporting senior leaders and handling sensitive information.

  • Adaptability: Positive attitude, resilience under pressure, and willingness to support occasional requirements outside regular business hours.

  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

Broadband Salary range: $64,000.00 and $106,000.00 CAD Annual.

Our typical hiring range is between $64,000 and $85,000 CAD Annual. Salary decisions are also dependent on other factors such as your experience, industry benchmarks, internal equity and other role-specific requirements. For critical roles, the compensation offering will be reviewed to ensure alignment with market rate and conditions and the unique value you bring to the role.
