Join our dynamic team at ISS STOXX as the Sector Head of Technology, Media, and Telecom (TMT) for ESG Research! Reporting directly to the Global Multidisciplinary Head of ESG Research, you'll be pivotal in enhancing our ESG Research offering to meet growing demand from our investor clients to deliver actionable intelligence on the activities of business and government that generate impacts, result in dependencies, and create financial risks and opportunities for investors.
We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical candidate to join our growing team. Play a pivotal role in shaping the future of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) research. You will be responsible for managing a global team of ESG research analysts that publishes timely ESG data and analysis on more than 1,400 companies.
In addition to research, you'll provide essential management support to our global team, ensuring high quality and efficiency, and handling administrative tasks. Collaboration is key, as you'll work with colleagues from various offices across the globe.
In this role you’ll

Ensure that TMT ratings reflect the latest publicly available data in a timely manner through the resourcing and management of a global research team.

Maintain the relevance of our industry-specific rating approach through continual methodology reviews, including the evaluation sustainability practices and reporting across the TMT sector.

Support investor clients with utilizing our research, including through the publication of thought leadership that translates ISS ESG data into actionable insights.

Lead cross-functional projects to maintain high research quality.
What you’ll bring to ISS STOXX

Degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Business or Sustainability (preferred).

CFA designation is a plus.

8+ years of relevant professional experience, including with management responsibility.

Capital markets experience (e.g., security research, portfolio management, risk management, investment stewardship), including with technology, media, or telecommunications companies.

Familiarity with ESG frameworks, standards, and regulations (e.g., GRI, TCFD, ESRS, IFRS).

Proficiency in modeling, data analysis, and quantitative research methods.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
