The Opportunity

The ERP & Integration Solution Architect at Canopy Growth will be primarily responsible for providing technical and subject matter expertise on the design and the architecture of enterprise systems including but not limited to Sage X3, Microsoft Dynamics C5 and 365, Netsuite, Workday, Rapid Response, Concur, EDI, etc. Canopy’s Enterprise applications landscape is diverse and complex. A fundamental aspect of the roadmap is to provide standardized, efficient, automated, and controlled integration layers across the systems so that data can traverse the environment, maintain its integrity, and reduce the exceptions and manual steps required. The ERP & Integration Solution architect will be a key decision maker in how we configure and connect systems as well as provide support to the data and business functions areas at Canopy.

Responsibilities  

  • Collaborate and develop solutions that support business needs and technology changes.

  • Partner with stakeholders to clearly define the scope and objectives of required project work.

  • Develop and manage a detailed project plan to coordinate all ERP related tasks throughout the lifecycle of a project.

  • Provide support and design solutions, where necessary, for new incidents or change requests that are raised within the ERP space. Act as an additional level of support for the Centre of Excellence team to help escalate issues to senior management.

  • Responsible for identifying alternative solutions, mitigating risks, analyzing the impact of technical choices made on the exiting architecture to ensure the business’ requirements are fulfilled.

  • Continually research new and emerging technology and functionality delivered with our ERP products.

  • Will also be responsible for designing and supporting all IPaaS solutions that are required to integrate with our ERP products (Celigo, EDI, etc.).

  • Provide direction to the support and development teams to ensure that industry best practices, techniques, and standards are utilized throughout the entire project execution.

  • Other duties assigned.

Experience   

  • 5-7 years of experience supporting ERP products and implementations.

  • Must have completed 2+ full cycle ERP implementations as a project/team lead.

  • Degree in business management, computer science, computer engineering, or related work experience.

  • Experience with SAGE X3, Microsoft Dynamics C5 and 365, Netsuite with certifications in key business processes preferred.

  • Experience working with integration platforms to extend ERP functionality with other applications in the canopy Growth landscape and external trading partners (i.e. EDI, Celigo, Boomi, SAP BPC, Power BI).

  • Experience as a subject matter expert supporting key business processes (i.e. Order-To-Cash, Plan-To-Manufacture, Procure-To-Pay, etc.).

  • Excellent planning, management, and organizational skills related to maintaining project work.

  • Strong leadership skills, and the ability to communicate cross functionally with different departments in the organization.

  • Experience providing C-suite level reports and communication.

  • Experience with designing functional specifications and working with technical resources to design technical documentation (process flow design, value-stream mapping, technical transformation mapping, etc.).

  • Experience working with change management practices (ITIL, etc.) and working with change management tools (JIRA, Confluence, Service Now, etc.).

  • Ability to engage with external support partners and implementation partners throughout the life cycle of a project.
