We are seeking a highly experienced Engineering Manager to lead the strategy, design, delivery, and operational excellence of integrations, automations, and enterprise platform initiatives across ERP, Billing, Revenue, CRM, HRIS systems. This role requires a strong technical and people leader with deep expertise in enterprise systems, data flows, platform modernization, migration programs, and large-scale delivery execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and delivery of enterprise integrations and automation solutions across ERP, Billing, Revenue, CRM, HRIS, and related platforms.
  • Define scalable integration patterns, system interfaces, API strategies, data flows, and engineering standards across enterprise applications.
  • Apply an AI-first approach to solution development by identifying opportunities to improve automation, operational efficiency, insights, and engineering productivity through AI-enabled capabilities where appropriate.
  • Ensure AI-enabled solutions are implemented responsibly, with appropriate governance, security, explainability, and alignment to business objectives.
  • Lead system migration initiatives, including transition planning, cutover strategy, dependency mapping, risk management, and business continuity considerations.
  • Drive data archival and retention strategies, ensuring compliance, accessibility, cost efficiency, and operational integrity.
  • Lead system decommissioning efforts, including impact assessment, transition planning, historical data preservation, and retirement of legacy capabilities.
  • Oversee the design and support of data pipelines that enable reliable movement, transformation, and availability of business-critical data across systems.
  • Support business reporting and analytical needs by ensuring enterprise data is trusted, well-structured, and accessible for decision-making.
  • Manage end-to-end execution of integration and platform programs, including planning, prioritization, dependency management, issue resolution, and delivery oversight.
  • Define and enforce deployment, release, and rollback plans to ensure safe production changes, minimal disruption, and rapid recovery when required.
  • Lead engineering resources by providing technical direction, coaching, mentorship, and performance management.
  • Partner with business and technology stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical, scalable, and maintainable solutions.
  • Establish best practices for documentation, monitoring, support readiness, operational governance, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure solutions are secure, reliable, maintainable, and aligned with enterprise standards and business objectives.

Education, Experience & Technical Skills:

  • 10+ years of experience in software engineering, enterprise systems, integrations, or business systems technology.
  • Significant engineering management experience with strong ownership of team leadership, delivery execution, stakeholder alignment, and technical direction.
  • Strong experience designing, troubleshooting, and supporting software systems such as Billing, Revenue, CRM, ERP, HRIS, and related enterprise platforms.
  • Broad expertise in database technologies, including enterprise data modeling, transactional and analytical data structures, data storage, performance optimization, and data lifecycle management.
  • Strong experience with scripting and automation technologies used to support integrations, operational processes, batch workloads, and platform support activities.
  • Experience with reporting, analytics, and enterprise data consumption patterns, including the delivery of trusted data for operational and business insight needs.
  • Deep understanding of integration patterns, APIs, middleware, event-driven and service-based architectures, and enterprise automation frameworks.
  • Proven experience delivering and supporting real-time and batch integration solutions across a variety of enterprise technology environments.
  • Strong experience with data pipelines, transformation processes, orchestration, and system-to-system synchronization.
  • Solid understanding of software design principles and the ability to design systems at both conceptual and detailed levels.
  • Experience with modern API technology stacks, including web services, service contracts, payload formats, authentication, and enterprise integration standards.
  • Experience with system migration, production releases, deployment planning, rollback strategies, and operational readiness.

The base salary range for this position is CAD $110,000 – CAD 124,000.

This range reflects the expected compensation at the time of posting. The final offer may vary and can be higher based on relevant skills, experience, location, and market conditions. Based on the role the total rewards package may also include benefits, bonus, and other employee offerings.
