Spinrite is the largest craft yarn and sewing thread company in North America. As an industry leader focused on driving growth and execution excellence, we are looking for an eCommerce Sales Analyst to join our growing eCommerce Sales team.

Reporting to the VP of eCommerce this individual will be responsible for working with all available data to predict customer purchasing patterns, identifying sales trends, tracking promotional programs, and making business recommendations based on factual data.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop effective forecast models for Amazon at the SKU level based on shipment history, POS trends, retailer inventory position and policy changes, and demand patterns such as seasonality.
  • Successfully communicate forecast and inventory estimations to management.
  • Analyze Customer and Marketplace POS to identify insights to be leveraged to drive customer category and share growth as well as ROS and Pricing recommendations.
  • Monitor to ensure optimal inventory levels at the retailer and make recommendations to retail partners to fill in potential gaps on the shelf.
  • Support the Key Account Manager with data insights for Business line reviews and promotional opportunities.
  • Monitor and report on important changes in sales forecasts, budgets, and business strategies. Communicate significant changes to supply planning teams via an exception report.
  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly analysis of Point of Sale (POS), shipments, and retailer inventory levels. Highlight findings and make recommendations
  • Analyze, report, and address any shipment problems. Work with team to fix issues.
  • Identify emerging trends based on analysis of sales and reconciliation results.
  • Participate in weekly meetings with Forecast Manager and Account Managers to share and discuss information related to assigned accounts.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access, and other visualization tools such as Power BI.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Organization and time management skills.
  • Previous experience with Sales Analytics and/or Demand Planning would be an asset.
  • Previous experience with Walmart Retail Link/Luminate would be an asset.
  • University degree or College diploma in Business or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
