Leads the supply chain function, developing long-term strategy, improving logistics efficiency, managing costs, inventory, budgets, warehouses, S&OP processes, and external partners. Aligns supply chain activities with sales, marketing, regional, and global objectives; oversees execution, performance, and strategic initiatives; and develops a high-performing team across multiple businesses.
Your Responsibilities
- Manage the Supply Chain function with a focus on developing and implementing 3-5 years strategic plan with the intent of driving efficiencies and innovation to improve all SC service offerings whilst controlling costs and inventory levels
- Ensure alignment of strategy to wider business strategies and objectives
- Provide necessary stakeholders with regular, accurate, and concise updates on cluster performance to enable broader logistics strategies to be developed
- Execute logistics processes and functions on a level
- Accountable for all external SC partners (Performance, Cost)
- Member of local leadership team
- Monitor and ensure performance of all relevant SC execution
- Align w/ regional sales and marketing activities to ensure a Supply Chain Strategy that supports their respective objectives through cost effective and efficient service offerings
- Manage budget and partake in yearly budget planning activities
- Support successful implementation of regional initiatives acting as intermediary with functions & respective employees
- Consolidate demands ensuring harmonization and global alignment
- Oversee development of all employees to guarantee superior Supply Chain competencies
- Successful execution for operational, tactical & strategic topics
- Achieving of aligned business targets through sustainable and predefined efficiency measures
- Further developments: improvements in WH footprint and S&OP process
- Develop and maintain a high performing team
What we are looking for
- 10+ years Supply Chain Management
- Experience with SAP is an asset
- Experience working in a cross matrixed environment
- 5 plus years’ experience in a direct-to-consumer environment
- Ability to lead multiple businesses; good understanding of white goods business
- Strong track record of successfully running logistics mid-size units in industry or logistics services
- Good IT understanding (e.g. forecasting software, S&OP, WMS, TMS, …)
The salary range for this position is $180,000 to $200,000 annually. This range is a guideline and may not reflect your exact offer. Factors that will be considered when extending an offer include but are not limited to education, experience, relevant skills, and alignment with market data.
