We have an opportunity for an ambitious Director of Sales to join our company. Reporting to the Head of Sales and Trading, the Director of Sales will be responsible for driving new business and contributing to the strategy and execution of our growth plans.


Responsibilities & Expectations

Based out of our Downtown Toronto office (if local), or Remotely if not, the main responsibilities and expectations for the role are:

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Acquisition: Lead efforts to identify and target prospective clients within the digital assets ecosystem, including institutions, miners, and individuals. Develop and nurture relationships to convert leads into loyal customers.
  • Outbound Sales Strategy: Craft and execute a comprehensive outbound sales strategy that aligns with the company's growth objectives. Identify market opportunities and tailor sales approaches to effectively acquire new clients.
  • Market Research: Stay informed about market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities within the crypto industry. Use market insights to refine sales strategies and stay ahead of the curve.
  • Sales Collateral: Develop and maintain sales materials, presentations, and proposals to support effective client outreach and communication.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
  • Sales Process Optimization: Continuously improve and streamline the sales process to maximize efficiency and effectiveness. Implement best practices to enhance the client acquisition journey.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven Sales Success: Demonstrated success in sales roles, with a strong track record of client acquisition and revenue generation.
  • Crypto Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the blockchain and crypto industry, including digital assets and trading platforms.
  • Strategic Thinker: Ability to develop and execute strategic outbound sales plans to drive growth.
  • Results-Driven: A track record of consistently achieving or surpassing sales targets.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Education: Formal education in finance, economics or business would be considered an asset
