The Sales Director will develop and implement the sales strategy, managing key customer relationships, and leading a high-performing sales team. Tasks and Qualifications:

This is What You Will do in This Role:

Sales Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with Dematic Canada's business goals and objectives

Revenue Growth: Drive revenue growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, growing existing customer accounts, and consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets

Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and empower the team to achieve individual and collective sales goals. Provide mentorship, training, and development opportunities to improve the team's performance

Customer Engagement: Build and maintain positive relationships with key customers, understanding their needs and ensuring their satisfaction with Dematic Canada's solutions and services

Market Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to find opportunities and threats, adjusting the sales strategy accordingly

Sales Process Improvement: Continuously improve the sales process, including lead generation, qualification, proposal development, and contract negotiation.

Budget Management: Lead all aspects of the sales budget optimally, prioritizing to improve ROI and achieve business objectives.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments, including marketing, engineering, and project management, to ensure a flawless customer experience and successful project execution.

Reporting and Forecasting: Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management, highlighting key performance metrics and insights.

What We are Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Consistent track record of at least 7-10 years in B2B sales, with a strong background in sophisticated solution selling, preferably in the supply chain and logistics industry.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a leadership role, leading and developing high-performance sales teams.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to travel as needed to meet with customers and support the sales team.
  • Knowledge of automation, robotics, and material handling systems is a plus.
  • The ability and availability to travel up to 20% of the time.
