BMO Financial Group is seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to join our team as the Director, Marketing Platforms. This hybrid role is pivotal in shaping and executing our Marketing Technology strategy and roadmap, aligning with BMO's broader marketing objectives. The Director will provide expertise in the design, development, management, and implementation of future state Marketing Technology, from business case development through to execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the strategic design and implementation of Marketing Technology strategy and roadmap.

  • Develop goals and key performance metrics to support Marketing Technology platforms.

  • Develop business cases by identifying needs, analyzing options, and assessing ROI.

  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders for business decisions and strategic initiatives.

  • Network with industry contacts to gather competitive insights and best practices.

  • Build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Ensure cross-group coordination and logistical support for change implementation.

  • Lead change management programs, including readiness assessments, planning, stakeholder management, execution, evaluation, and sustainment.

  • Direct the planning and implementation of operational programs supporting the Marketing Technology platforms.

  • Manage resources and lead the execution of strategic initiatives to achieve business and financial goals.

  • Monitor, track performance, and report on overall program.

  • Foster a culture aligned with BMO's purpose, values, and strategy.

  • Attract, retain, and develop top talent, improving team performance and managing poor performance.

Qualifications:

  • 9+ years of relevant experience and a post-secondary degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Combination of financial services and technology exposure; expert understanding of digital issues/trends.

  • Expert knowledge of digital channels and workplace technology platforms and services.

  • Seasoned expert with extensive industry knowledge.

  • Technical leader viewed as a thought leader for innovation.

  • Expert verbal and written communication skills.

  • Expert analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Expert influence skills.

  • Expert collaboration and team skills, with a focus on cross-group collaboration.

  • Ability to manage ambiguity.

  • Data-driven decision-making expertise.

Salary:

$113,900.00 - $211,800.00

Pay Type:

Salaried

The above represents BMO Financial Group’s pay range and type.

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.

BMO Financial Group’s total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, as well as other perks and rewards.
