You’re a force. Confident, persuasive, and sharp. The Director, Growth is the strategic driver of new business at WPP Media, leading pitches with clarity, confidence, and calm. You know how to read a room, build authentic relationships, and get buy-in from senior stakeholders. You don’t just pitch - you rally, motivate, and inspire cross-functional teams to bring their best to the table.
- Lead the end-to-end pitch process for high-value opportunities—ensuring the experience is seamless, strategic, and persuasive.
- Act as the external face of WPP Media Growth—cultivating prospective relationships, responding to inbound RFPs, and building a pipeline of opportunity.
- Inspire cross-functional teams to deliver breakthrough work - rallying energy and collaboration across disciplines.
- Navigate senior stakeholder conversations with confidence, credibility, and tact - earning trust and alignment across the board.
- Craft compelling narratives and develop high-impact pitch materials that clearly articulate WPP Media’s value proposition.
- Maintain rigorous project management discipline: workbacks, deliverables, deadlines, and budgets are second nature to you.
- Champion a culture of growth internally by celebrating wins, fostering pride, and helping people see their role in driving the business forward.
- Analyze market trends, competitive intelligence, and client dynamics to proactively shape pursuit strategies.
- Monitor, track, and report on pipeline performance, identifying patterns and opportunities for improvement.

- Experienced in the media/creative agency world
- Bonus: client-side or client-facing experience is an asset.
- Minimum 6+ years of experience, with at least 2+ years focused on business development or growth functions
- Experience working within an advertising, media, or creative agency is required
- Proven ability to lead complex projects from pitch to close
- Deep understanding of the Canadian media landscape and competitive agency environment
- Strong business acumen, analytical rigor, and attention to detail
- A natural problem-solver who thrives in fast-moving, ever-changing environments
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint.

The base salary for this position at the time of this posting may range between the values at the bottom of this posting. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications.
