We are looking for a Sales Leader to join our outstanding organization as a Director of Financial Services - Canada. You will be responsible for overseeing and motivating a team of Enterprise Account Executives and you will be measured by your team's overall quota attainment, and new business acquisition. This is a team of motivated senior sellers so we are looking for someone who is comfortable leading teams and has a deep understanding of the Financial Services space. 

The impact you will have:

  • Promote Revenue Success: Build and exceed your teams quarterly/annual sales targets
  • Build and Implement Strategic Plans: Develop and execute evolving revenue plans and growth tactics
  • Create Trust-Based Relationships: develop long term customer, partner, and cross-functional relationships
  • Distill Customer Needs and Value: Help your team to understand commercial goals of your customer and how they relate to our value proposition
  • Manage the Voice of Databricks: Lead your team to communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations

What we look for:

  • Experienced (5+ years) high-growth SaaS leader with experience leading a hybrid inside/field sales team.
  • 4+ years of experience translating a highly technical product into quantified business value for the CSuite.
  • 4+ years of experience selling against open source or freemium.
  • Demonstrated track record delivering working towards personal and team goals while to uplevel your process
  • Ability to influence, develop, and empower employees to achieve personal objectives with a team first mindset
  • Coach and develop sales fundamentals to Account Executives including and not limited to prospecting, forecasting, and negotiation tactic
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and experience presenting to the C Suite.
  • Willing to travel (<25%) and work on the deals to hit the goals.
  • Bachelor's degree required.

Pay Range Transparency

Databricks is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range for this role is listed below and represents base salary range for non-commissionable roles or on-target earnings for commissionable roles.  Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and training, and specific work location. Based on the factors above, Databricks utilizes the full width of the range. The total compensation package for this position may also include eligibility for annual performance bonus, equity, and the benefits listed above. 


Canada Pay Range

$291,400$515,600 CAD
