About the role

Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for building authentic relationships and driving growth? As Director, Business Development within our Real Estate Management Services (REMS) team, you’ll play a pivotal role in expanding our portfolio across Eastern Canada. This is your opportunity to combine commercial acumen with a people-first approach—connecting with clients, uncovering opportunities, and positioning Colliers as the trusted partner of choice.

  • Lead Growth Strategy: Build and manage a high-quality business development pipeline aligned with REMS priorities.

  • Drive Pursuits: Develop tailored strategies, lead the full pursuit cycle, and deliver winning proposals.

  • Build Relationships: Cultivate trust-based connections with owners, brokers, lenders, and industry influencers.

  • Stay Ahead: Track market trends, ownership changes, and emerging opportunities to act proactively.

  • Elevate Our Brand: Represent Colliers at industry events and collaborate on thought leadership initiatives.

  • Collaborate Internally: Ensure seamless client onboarding and cross-team alignment.

What You’ll Bring

  • University degree in Business, Real Estate, Economics, or related field.

  • 8–10 years of progressive experience in commercial real estate preferred, including 3+ years in a sales-focused role.

  • Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills.

  • Proven ability to lead pitches, manage pipelines, and deliver results.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.

  • A valid Ontario driver’s license.

Area/Location Specific: Toronto, ON

Approximate Salary Range for Role: $130,000.00 to $150,000.00

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all Canada locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
