What You'll Do:

  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for business teams, ensuring alignment on development and operational priorities.
  • Provide regular status updates to stakeholders through weekly/monthly reporting.
  • Advocate for process improvements and new technologies to drive efficiency and innovation.
  • Lead and manage a team of Data Engineers, BI, and Operations to enhance and maintain high-performing, scalable data solutions.
  • Own the roadmap for development and operational enhancements, ensuring timely delivery and continuous improvement.
  • Drive collaboration across teams, including product owners, business analysts, and infrastructure teams to align business objectives with technical execution.
  • Oversee and optimize data pipelines (ETL/ELT) on cloud platforms (Azure, Snowflake AWS, or GCP).
  • Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of data workflows and front-end dashboards.
  • Promote best practices in development, including code reviews, CI/CD, automation, and monitoring.
  • Leverage DevOps best practices to automate deployments, streamline infrastructure management, and improve system observability.
  • Manage CI/CD pipelines and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for scalability and efficiency.
  • Oversee the monitoring, alerting, and troubleshooting of production data systems.
  • Ensure incident resolution and service request fulfillment in collaboration with the operations team.
  • Maintain system health and uptime, optimizing cost and performance in cloud environments (compute clusters, storage, and data processing frameworks).
  • Ensure high-quality deliverables through code reviews, documentation, design reviews, and adherence to architectural guidelines.
  • Experience with design, build, and optimize scalable, high-performance data pipelines that integrate diverse data sources, ensure data quality, and support real-time, batch, and incremental processing is a plus


What You'll Bring:

  • 5+ years of experience in a DevOps, cloud operations role or data engineering, , with a focus on managing large scale operations, optimizing data workflows and infrastructure.
  • A relevant bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Data Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka), cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Azure, Snowflake) and BI tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
  • Experience with data integration and ETL tools (e.g., Talend, Informatica, Apache NiFi).
  • Proficiency in DevOps methodologies, including CI/CD pipeline management, infrastructure automation, and system monitoring.
  • Experience managing data storage solutions and optimizing cloud infrastructure.
  • Strong project management experience, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive initiatives to completion (leverage tools like JIRA for enhancements, Service Now for incidents & service requests)
  • Excellent client communication skills, with the ability to gather requirements, present solutions, and collaborate effectively with business stakeholders.
  • Ability to travel to other offices or client locations as needed.
  • Motivation to learn and share process improvements and new technologies to drive efficiency and innovation.


Additional Skills:

  • Experience with cloud infrastructure management, including cost optimization and resource allocation.
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes, Terraform, and containerized deployments is a plus.
  • Certifications in data engineering, cloud platforms, or DevOps (e.g., Azure Data Engineer, Power BI Certified) are a plus.
  • Understanding of data governance, compliance, and security best practices.
