DevOps Engineer (Remote)

Job Description
Springbig is the leading SaaS marketing technology platform serving retailers and brands in the rapidly growing cannabis industry throughout the U.S. and Canada. We serve in excess of 1,000 clients across 2,300 locations and our clients communications using the Springbig platform access more than 37 million consumers making Springbig the leading company in our sector.
Position Overview:
This is a fully remote position. The DevOps Engineer responsibilities include helping us build functional systems that improve customer experience. Deploying product updates, identifying production issues and implementing integrations that meet customer needs. You will execute and automate operational processes fast, accurately and securely. If you have a solid background in software engineering and are familiar with Ruby or Python, we’d like to meet you.
Roles and Responsibilities:
 

  • Implement integrations requested by customers
  • Deploy updates and fixes
  • Build tools to reduce occurrences of errors and improve customer experience
  • Develop software to integrate with internal back-end systems
  • Perform root cause analysis for production errors
  • Investigate and resolve technical issues
  • Develop scripts to automate visualization
  • Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance


Requirements:

  • Work experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role
  • Experience with AWS
  • Good knowledge of Ruby or Python
  • Working knowledge of databases and SQL
  • Problem-solving attitude
  • Team spirit
  • BSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field
