What you'll be doing
You’ll be joining CIBC’s Core banking and payments technology. You’ll be at the heart of CIBC’s digital transformation, successfully delivering complex, enterprise-scale mobile projects involving multiple back-end systems. As an DevOps Consultant, you’ll assemble, implement and maintain easy, flexible, and personalized solutions that enhance the deployment of automation across the enterprise.
How You’ll Succeed

Strategic Development & Execution: Perform and coordinate complex DevOps solution design activities. Understand the system requirements and translate them into system and application design that is aligned with our technology roadmap. Design and document the technical functionality, infrastructure, interfaces and integrations. Lead the design of cost-effective and innovative solutions to meet both business objectives and the goal of operational efficiency.

Strategy and Roadmap: Contribute to technology roadmaps that are aligned with the bank’s vision, strategy, and business objectives. Lead multiple complex technology solutions while maintaining consistency across the platform, adopting best practices and pushing forward continuous improvements

Stakeholder Management: Act as the DevOps solution lead and interface with the Various technology teams by driving and moderating design review sessions to walk stakeholders through and ensure that the overall design aligns with business requirements as well as architectural directions. Support and mentor junior DevOps engineer and developers through knowledge sharing, collaboration and effective problem solving
Who you are

You can demonstrate 8+ years’ experience in. designing, developing, implementing and supporting DevSecOps tooling and pipeline with expertise in most of the following: GitHub Actions, Maven/Gradle/Python, Jenkins, OpenShift/Kubernates, Azure DevOps, Git, TFS, JIRA, Azure DevOps, Azure data pipelines and containerization. Extensive knowledge and experience with Cloud native Java application build and deployment automation in large organization.
